Advice on opening a CD account and a savings account with interest rates well?
I would like to open a CD account and I’m not sure what a good rate. I do not want to invest between 3 – $ 500 and possibly an end 6 months. Is it unreasonable? Also, I try to open a savings account that will also earn interest, and I’m having difficulty find high rates. B of A offered me one which requires a minimum of $ 300 and the interest rate is 0.02% APY. Is not that ridiculous low? I spoke with a partner and she told me she is worse daily and paid monthly. So if I put $ 300 I would be returning only 60 cents a year? I hope that I despise these rates. Please advise!
