why do people not want monthly statements from accounting firms?
I’m a telemarketer for an accounting firm and my boss want me to stress in my pitch that we provide them with monthly financial statements and I end up losing the appointment alot the minute I tell them that ( we telemarket small business owners)
Truth is monthly financial statements are not of much value to small businesses.
Small businesses don’t have much going on in a month, they might even be able to remember every transaction they do. There’s no need for them to hire you for something they don’t even need.
You should be marketing the service to medium to big businesses. These companies are more likely to appreciate having monthly financial statements, because without those it would be difficult for the companies to monitor the transactions they do every month.
