Accounting Degree ?- A.S to B.S or straight to B.S?
Im going to start out my accounting degree at a technical college which offers an associates degree in accounting. I will be registering for classes this week and I need some advice. Should I do the 2 year associates degree program get an A.S in accounting than transfer to a 4 year college to complete my B.S or should I just start out doin generals than transfer to a 4 year and just get my B.S?
An Associates Degree is nice, but when it comes to degreess like Accounting, you need a B.S. When you get you resume put together after college, the A.S. will add alittle icing on the cake, but that’s it. My advice, don’t go to get an Associates. If you’re planning on going to a junior college, take your basics and don’t worry about an Associates since you plan on transferring. It’ll be quicker, easier, and cheaper.
